Purpose :
to prevent the VGA card after cleaning to
maximize the result of cleaning is done by technician.
Scope :
this procedure is applied for the technician
in cleaning VGA card in the PC.

Instructions :
1.
Turn on the computer before opening case and attempting
to clean any parts, make sure the computer is completely powered off. Shut down
the computer and unplug the power cable that goes from the wall to the
computer.
2.
To prevent ststic electricity damage, make sure the
grounded one of the easiestways to do this is by wearing an ESD.
3.
Open the computer case, on most cases, there are screws
located on the sides or the back that must remove to open the panel. Some cases may just slide open.
4.
Locate the VGA card, usually VGA card is connected to
the motherboard towards the back of the computer case. It will also be
connected to the monitor plug that runs from the computeer to the monitor in
most dekstop computers.
5.
Remove the VGA card. Before remov the VGA card, make
sure to unplug the monitor cable and other cables. Attached to the VGA card it
self. In most computers, there are one or two screws holding the VGA card.
These screws are most often located on the back of the case, where the cards is
connected. Once the VGA card is unscrewed, gently pull the VGA card out of the
slot.
6.
Clean the VGA card. Spray it with compressed air, or
clean the VGA card gently with a microfiber cloth or with rubber.
7.
Put the VGA card back into the slot AGP. Screw in the
screws that hold the VGA card into place and reconnect any VGA card cables. Put
the coomputer case cover back on and reattach the computer power supply.
Monitoring :

I need 30 minutes to clean the VGA card.
2.
And i need 1 person to do this job. It’s my self.
Corrective action :

If there are have a trouble, you can correct for hear
the beep sound, or see the fault(eror) notification.

Verification and record keeping :
technician must record the time,
date and tools. Used the corrective action and taken record that has been
created should be kept approxi mately one week.
